GM Locomotives Built in Belgium by SAFB
Built locos mainly for the Belgian State Railways 1952-1957.
SAFB got an associate agreement with EMD around September 1949. Due to SAFB's financial difficulties, EMD/GMOO revoked the agreement in late February 1958, 18 months before the 10-year agreement was to expire.

Built GM locomotives in Belgium 1961-1965, after the EMD-SAFB agreement was canceled in 1958.
"In 1956, this company merged with Les Ateliers Métallurgiques de Nivelles to form La Brugeoise et Nivelles. In 1977, the company merged with Constructions Ferroviaries du Centre (CFC) (in Familleureux, Hainaut, Belgium) to form BN Constructions Ferroviaries et Métalliques (BN)"
Serial numbers listed are EMD order numbers, as BRUNIVEL apparently did not assign any serials of their own.
