The following 85 lightweight cars were part of the original Streamliner trainsets on Union Pacific.

Index Listing

On December 1, 1948, the cars that were jointly-owned by UP, SP and C&NW were distributed to the three railroads in the ratio of route miles operated. A total of 50 cars were jointly-owned by the three roads: six cars in the City of Portland; 13 cars in the City of Denver; 17 cars in the City of San Francisco (8th and 10th trains); and 14 cars in the City of Los Angeles (7th and 9th trains). UP took ownership of the cars in the City of Portland and City of Denver train sets, along with a majority of the cars in the 7th and 9th trains (City of Los Angeles) and the 8th and 10th trains (City of San Francisco). C&NW took ownership of 13 cars, and 10 cars went to SP.

Although ownership changed, the cars remained in their respective service until C&NW left the Overland Route partnership in 1955.
