  1. Renumbered by Norfolk Southern at Altoona, Pa., after the unit's tri-annual inspection, under contract for UP.
  2. Renumbered by Mid America Car in Kansas City, under contract for UP; moved to Mid America Car via interchange with KCS.
  3. UP 6124 should have been renumbered to UP 2279, rather than 2472; this will likely be fixed in the near future.
  4. SP GP60s renumbered to UP 5700 series numbers because the planned UP 1900 series numbers are still occupied by GP38-2s leased from EMD.
  5. UP 5782 was renumbered from SSW 9680 by use of a cab-side patch; seen by Lon Coone on 10/9/2000.
