Kennecott purchased 14 new Komatsu Model 930E trucks in 2009, each with a capacity of 320 tons.
After the first Euclid trucks arrived at Bingham, their design limitations became apparent. The following comes from Don Cole in 2017, "Code 51 was a dump on northeast side of the mine facing east. It was at the point where the Bingham Canyon began. The haul road ran on the side of the hill up through Bingham Canyon into the mine. It was a direct shot from shovel out to the dump with little or no grades. A very long haul compared to many of the other applications. A Euclid was designed for heavy downhill hauls. They handled very well going down hill because of a aggressive retard system in the transmission. The suspension on the machine was not as good as other makes and caused the machine to bounce. This made is a poor choice for the code 51 application because they were not as fast a the Haulpaks or especially the KW Dart tractor trailers. Code 51 haul was not a good match for the design of the Euc's. The downhill reload in Highland Boy was a much better fit."
Trucks in 1990s
During the 1990s there were ten Komatsu 830E trucks at Bingham, but only for a short time. All ten trucks were mothballed that fleet and sold to another mine. Then in the late 1990s the first Komatsu 930E trucks arrived at Bingham, at the same time as the two big Caterpillar 797 trucks. By 2021, all those were gone.
Trucks in 2000s
In the early 2000s Bingham received ten Komatsu 930E (930e-3) trucks, then in about 2006 more Komatsu 930s arrived in the form of the newer 930e-4. Some of those 930E trucks were lost in the April 2013 slide.
Trucks in 2012
A summary in 2012 at MiningTechnology.com shows a total of ten mining shovels at Bingham (seven P&H 2800 and three P&H 4100), along with 65 haulage trucks. (Mining-Technology.com)

- 2 Caterpillar 797 trucks (mechanical-drive)
- 9 Komatsu 830E trucks (electric-drive)
- 1 Komatsu 930E-2 truck (electric-drive)
There have been current reports during early 2021 that the Komatsu 930E trucks at Bingham could travel at 42 miles-per-hour when empty, and were getting loads of between 410 and 435 tons as a weekly average. Such loads bring the total truck weight to around 660 to 695 tons, or around 1,320,000 to 1,390,000 pounds.

The first trucks at Bingham were KW Dart 65-ton models, numbered beginning from 201. Numbers visible in photographs taken in 1963 show numbers 201 through 206.
The early 110-ton KW Dart articulated trucks were numbered in the 250 series.
Specific information for Unit Rig Lectrahaul trucks came from Unit Rig records, furnished by Jerry Shelton, retired Vice President, Sales, at Unit Rig.
