UP 25822 May 1979 2019 During October 2016, UP 25822 was seen equipped with large propane fuel tanks and assigned for "snow bus" service at Ogden, Utah, to move crews between stopped trains and crew change points; stored at Morgan, used as maintenance of way office. Retired by UP in 2019 and seen sitting in Morgan yard in March 2019; donated to Morgan City on November 18, 2019; Morgan City accepted the donation on April 28, 2020; moved on September 1, 2020 to off-track display on city property southeast of Morgan depot; repainted in non-standard UP yellow and gray paint scheme.

UP 25836 Jun 1979 After Jan 2002 Sold at some time before 2006 to private owners in Topeka, Kansas; displayed near intersection of NW Docking Road and NW Frontage Road on the north side of Interstate 70, just west of the Valencia exit, about 12 miles west of Topeka, Kansas; listed for sale on both eBay and Craigslist during 2008; donated in August 2013 to Community Pride Railroad Park in Melvern, Kansas, about 50 miles south and west of Valencia location; moved to Melvern on October 2, 2013. Property for the park in Melvern was purchased in October 2006, with plans to construct an elevated platform to allow photography of passing BNSF trains.
