- Placed in the interchange track by the Ventura County Railroad on January 8, 2024; left Oxnard on January 9th, arriving Colton, California, early on the 10th.
- Moved from Colton late on January 11th; arriving Arden (near Las Vegas), Nevada
- Left Arden bound for the museum at Boulder City on the morning of January 12th.
- Delayed on the afternoon of the 12th due to safety concerns by the City of Henderson, crossing the bridge passing over Interstate 11.
- The UP crew moved the caboose back to the siding for PolyWest in Henderson, pending resolution of safety concerns.
- Stored at PolyWest until moved to museum at Boulder on July 31, 2024.
- As of August 2024, stored at Nevada State Railroad Museum at Boulder awaiting restoration.
- Temporary reporting mark during the move from California to Boulder was RHTX 25428; original UP number 25428 will be applied after restoration.
