- UP 2215 -- UP records show this car as being wrecked in July 1929; a later report showed that UP 2215 was the caboose donated to Brigham City, Utah, in November 1968, and converted to a tourist information center in time for the May 1969 Centennial celebration. The caboose was later moved to the Brigham City land fill, and as of 2003 had been moved to the Golden Spike National Historic Site at Promontory, Utah.
- Photos show that UP 2215 was a standard UP CA-1 wooden caboose. It was originally a UP Non Common Standard caboose built in 1888, but after a wreck in 1929, the number was used on a replacement caboose identical to a standard UP CA-1 caboose of the era. After its move to Promontory, the wooden body became very deteriorated and the decision was made to remove the metal parts for possible later restoration, and the wooden body parts were burned. As of late 2018 the intact metal frame was stored on the ground at the Promontory locomotive shop.
