  2. C&NW 8659, 8717, and 8727 are known to have been in service using the Operation Lifesaver logo, after being repainted in late 1993.
  3. C&NW 8700 equipped with a metal plaque reading "David L. Meyers, 1947-1994" on nose commemorating the late David L. Meyers, former C&NW Director-Engineer Training.
