General Notes:
- UPP 2066 was built in 1960 as Postal Storage 5816; renumbered to UP 903677 Roadway Tool Car in 1972; to Power Car UPP 2066 in 2004
- This is new power car has roughly twice the power capability of our existing power cars. It should be able to handle a 17 or 18-car passenger train by itself. Currently when we run very large passenger specials, we have to use two power cars, one on the head-end and another mid-train. We'll be able to keep this one on the head-end of the train and out of the way of the guests. It was built from a former baggage car. The heightened roof houses locomotive cooling fans to dissipate the enormous amount of heat generated. The car is 16' 1" high, slightly higher than a dome car. It should be ready for service later this year. (John Bromley, Trainorders.com, May 3, 2004)

In the 1970s, Union Pacific's Maintenance of Way team transitioned the car into a tool car and renumbered it No. 904277. It was retired from service in the 1990s and stored at Union Pacific's coach shop in Council Bluffs, Iowa. (Union Pacific information data sheet)
Named "Promontory" when equipped as the "Experience The Union Pacific" car as part of the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the driving of the golden spike. UPP 5752 "Promontory" was part of Union Pacific's display at Ogden Union Station during May 9-12, 2019.
After completion as the "Experience The Union Pacific" car, UPP 5752 was first displayed for four days beginning on April 19, 2019 at Sacramento, California, at Old Town Sacramento and the California Railroad Museum. General Notes:
- UPP 7011 "Missouri River Eagle" was built as UP Dome Coach 7011 in November 1958; retired by UP in December 1971 and sold to Auto Train 708 in June 1972 (not Auto Train 707, as previously reported); to James E. Strates Shows in December 1981; to Kasten Rail Car in 1984; to Hartwell Lowe Corporation, Yucca Valley, California as HLCX 1898, "Marion Mattison"; sold to Northern Rail Car in January 1988 and converted to Dome Diner; in service as Scenic Rail Dining 7011 "Mountain View" (800558) in 1988-1989; sold to Transcisco Tours in October 1990 for "Sierra 49er" service, numbered as "Emerald Bay" (800558); car was repossessed after Transcisco Tour's bankruptcy and returned to Northern Rail Car in August 1991; leased to Kalamazoo Lake Shore & Chicago in August 1991 for Michigan Wine Country Dinner Train service; returned to Northern Rail car and sold to UP in May 1993, numbered as UPP 7011 "Missouri River Eagle"
- Is this car the former UP 7011 or UP 7012? The sequence of UP 7011 to Auto Train 707, and UP 7012 to Auto Train 708 was first reported in Randall's 1973-1974 Railway Passenger Car Annual, published in 1974. This roster assumes that at some point in one of its many rebuilds, someone discovered evidence that Auto Train 708 was actually ex UP 7011, rather than ex UP 7012.
- Named "Missouri River Eagle" to commemorate the Missouri Pacific train that ran between St. Louis and Omaha, from March 1940 to April 1971 (the Kansas City to Omaha segment was discontinued in September 1965). The Missouri River Eagle was the first and last diesel streamliner on the Missouri Pacific.
