- MP SW1200s 1100-1199 (92 units) were retired in January, February and June 1985; all were sold to several different used locomotive dealers, including Precision National, Chrome Crankshaft; Wilson Railway, and Coast Engine & Equipment, and many were subsequently resold to smaller railroads and industrial companies nationwide.
