Union Pacific has had a large fleet of Roadway cars throughout its entire history, with its Roadway fleet usually consisting of older cars that have outlived their usefulness in revenue service.
Express Box Cars
The 912000-912076 number series was assigned to UP's BE-50-25 Express Box Cars.
The 912077-912106 number series was assigned to UP's BE-50-31 Express Box cars.
The 915500-915585 number series was assigned to UP's BE-70-1 Express Box Cars.

- LA&SL 910666 was either a tank car or a retired steam locomotive tender assigned to fuel storage at Colton; replaced in May 1971 by UP 903019 (ex 23-GTE-12) using fuel filter and fuel pump removed from LA&SL 910666.
Heavy Duty Flat Cars
In October 1968 through June 1969, UP rebuilt 100 retired arch-roof heavyweight Baggage cars to F-70-23, -24, -25, -26 heavy-duty flat cars in its Omaha, Denver and Los Angeles car shops. These 100 flat cars were numbered in UP's 258600 series, then renumbered to the 909300 and 909400 series.
- UP 909300-909348 (48 cars) rebuilt in 1968-1969 to UP 258600-series heavy-duty flat cars; renumbered in November 1971 through October 1972 to UP 909300-series cars. (r2-0600; r3-0812)
- UP 909350-909356 (7 cars) rebuilt in 1968-1969 to UP 258600-series heavy-duty flat cars; renumbered in November 1971 through October 1972 to UP 909300-series cars. (r2-0600; r3-0813)
- UP 909400-909444 (45 cars) rebuilt in 1968-1969 to UP 258600-series heavy-duty flat cars; renumbered in December 1971 through April 1973 to UP 909400-series cars. (r2-0600; r3-0814)
