General Notes:

  1. UP 90000 was built as UP 51344, an F-50-15 flat car built in June 1951; rebuilt to snow plow in September 1974; assigned to Blackfoot, Idaho, to keep Aberdeen and Scoville branches clear of snow; sold to Eastern Idaho Railroad in 1993; as of October 2020, stored at Ririe, Idaho.

  1. UP 900001 was built in 1949 as UP 01; renumbered to UP 900001 in May 1959; assigned to Idaho Falls, Idaho; as of February 2014, assigned to Blackfoot, Idaho; still there as of April 2019.
  2. UP 900002 was built in 1949 as UP 02; renumbered to UP 900002 in December 1959; last assigned to Oroville, California; donated to Feather River Rail Society, Portola, California, moved from Oroville to Portola on October 23, 1990.
  3. UP 900003 was built in 1949 as UP 03; renumbered to UP 900003 in April 1959; last assigned to Soda Springs, Idaho; still there as of September 2006.
  4. UP 900004 was built in 1949 as UP 04; renumbered to UP 900004 in March 1959; sold to Columbia-Geneva Steel in April 1972 for use on United States Steel's Atlantic City iron ore railroad; rails torn up in 1986; plow scrapped in 1987

General Notes:

  1. UP wedge plow 900009 was built in June 1928 as UP F-50-5 flat car 56200; retired and modified as UP wedge plow 03010 in November 1946; renumbered to UP wedge plow 09 in September 1949; renumbered to UP wedge plow 900009 in December 1959; retired by UP in April 1981. UP 900009 was assigned to UP's Provo yard. Photos as early as the mid 1950s, and as late as the late 1970s, show the plow sitting near the joint Utah Railway/UP engine facility.
